SPELLBAND

Spellband is an italian trio of djs and producers that have been making music since 1997: Giuseppe is the "key" composer, musician and arranger; Andrea is the group co-founder together with Giuseppe and his main role is tracks editing; Vins is the man of sound and is responsible for Spellband' sound engineering, editing and the final touch.

At the beginning of their musical carreer they set up a home studio where they started playing with drum machines, midi, old samplers and in 2 years their music reached the top and captured the attention of US main labels such as Strictly Rhythm and 4th Floor Rec: they were the first Italian producers to come out on these labels in the 90's

They have a history of over 150 releases (80% on vinyl) and more than 100 remixes; they released tracks on prestigious compilations and labels such as Vega Records (Louie Vega), Tony Records (Tony Humphries) with whom have an ongoing collaboration, Madhouse Records (Kerri Chandler), T's Crates (Terry Hunter), Shelter (Timmy Regisford), Double Cheese Records, while growing many other project with US djs / producers.

Recently their collaborations reached Global Diplomacy, the new N'dinga Gaba's label, with a very successful EP "Project one", which track 'Emozioni' was number one on Traxsource's afro chart for nearly a month.

Their latest projects are an upcoming EP on King Street, out in August, a new remix with Global Diplomacy, a new collaboration with MoBlack, and, finally, a single with Marissa Guzman that will be out on Tribe Records
