​The Renaissance man Leon Battista Alberti once said "a man can do all things if he will." Fittingly, Alberti was an author, artist, architect, poet, priest, linguist, philosopher and cryptographer. This multidisciplinary approach is exactly what artist, producer, and label boss Kyle Yip has implemented into his vision of Savvy Records. Under the production moniker Discrete, Kyle started out playing at nightclubs around Toronto, bedroom producing original tracks and remixing as much as possible. Soon after, his hard work received recognition when with some international airtime with Kissy Sell Out on BBC's Radio 1, and the Loose Cannons on the British based KISS FM. Shortly after his first EP To All The Killers was unleashed on the German Brickhouse Records. After performing and promoting in Europe, Kyle decided it was time to apply his experience to create the Toronto based Savvy Records label.
