GROOVEMENT

Groovement is a cultural and editorial platform currently based in Lisbon that has been working with the some of the most interesting portuguese producers (Tiago, Helder Russo, Jorge Caiado, etc) uniting different generations as well as some of the most ground breaking international ones like Recloose, DJ Nature, The Backwoods, Niko Marks, etc. Groovement music has been played out and charted by Ellen Allien, Tiga, Baumecker, Tim Sweeney among many other reputed artists. Groovement is also very active on the club front showcasing its artists at big Festivals and regular international famed venues like LUX, Music Box or Casa da Música and other important seasonal events like beach parties on the Lisbon coast. Currently the label runs an (almost) legendary monthly residency at Lisbon's best small club named Brownie where artists test their new material and connect informally with the audience. Groovement gave birth recently to two new sub-labels as a consequence of the artistic expansion of the platform.
