'46' is the first single from Marissa Guzman's critically acclaimed sophomore EP, and she has unquestionably taken her vocals and production to the next level with this explosive and uplifting song which is an ode to the current political state of America. Not only does she belt it for the first time ever on recording, but the raw emotion behind her moving lyrics transpire through percussive Afro drum beats and funk fueled baselines that would make even the most conservative politicians bop their heads in approval. The driving keyboard melody takes a high-powered turn towards the end and takes you straight to church for a gospel house vibe while she plays the piano and stacks her vocals creating her own church choir while singing, "Are you Woke?" and "Don't be tired!" hinting to the listener to get out and vote in the 2020 elections.
