An iconic track from Swiss brothers Shakedown, ‘At Night’ is one of the most recognisable house tracks of the last two decades. Terra Deva’s unforgettable vocals give the track its resounding unique after-dark quality that has been much replicated. Here the track comes equipped with ten mixes from the likes of Mousse T., Jazz-N-Groove and Afterlife. Kid Crème’s take on the track was famously watched by 250,000 people when Fatboy Slim played it during his record-breaking set on Brighton Beach in 2002, adding more infectious funk grooves and choppy guitar. German producer Mousse T. lends his ever-reliable touch, drawing on looped vocals and swirling synths to give the track a fresh feel. Jazz-N-Groove and Jask provide the perfect chilled listening with two house cuts featuring soft piano, taking the incredible vocal to a new level whilst Kid Crème returns for a re-edit of his mix. Alan Braxe gives us his Italo Disco interpretation using Gorgio Moroder vibes to take the track back in time from its original release. The biggest flips of the original track come from Rulers Of The Deep and Afterlife, borrowing little more than the vocal to create new tracks featuring resonant pads and uplifting strings.
