Jason Patrick delivers the latest offering from 4trk with four new tracks.

Originally from Detroit, Jason Patrick has been residing in Chicago for the past ten years. He currently owns/operates Klectik and is also a co-owner of Estetika Records. He has previously released on the likes of KMS and Gynoid Audio, amongst others, with an upcoming release on Impact Mechanics.

Kicking off his ‘TimeFlex EP’ is the title track; a stripped down number with touches of 303, a hypnotic lead type synth and rhythmic elements that modulate throughout. ‘Consciousness’ is a spacey number that takes shape with a breakbeat and swirling acid synths before going into a straightforward 4/4 feel at the half way point, while an effected vocal sample morphs and mutates. The third track, ‘Love is Knowledge’ is an ambient number with spacey drones and a vocal sample. Final cut, ‘Vir Arp’ rounds off the release with a strange patch that twists and turns, alongside atmospheric textures and a piano melody that shows up in spots creating a dark cinematic theme.
