Joining the Positronic ranks this month is British born, Seattle based producer Matt Cookson a.k.a Maxeus. Following his recent release of "Canyonlands" on Uplay, he joins our imprint this spring with a three-track sonic journey showcasing what he's all about.

The soulful and evocative groove of "The World Is Ours" serves as a solid opener with catchy female vocals, sunny trance-tipped synths in the drop and a chunky melodic groove that's right at home on Positronic. Rousing cinematic strings and major keys form the backdrop of the EP's second track "No Way Out But Down", with an arpeggiated ostinato that brings a hopeful and forward-thinking message delivered on a solid club groove.

Rounding out the EP is the euphoric finale of "Supernova", merging 80s themed crystalline synths with a rising and epic build sure to flow with any late-night progressive trance DJ set.
