Yogi & Husky return to RSR with 3 club bangers destined for the floor. 3 very energetic, yet different tracks have emerged, offering all kinds of DJ's something to spin in their sets. First up is "Stay", featuring the ever soulful vocals of Yogi himself. A deeper, yet floor filling piano monster, this track carves a righteous path through your body to your feet, as it builds towards an epic vocal breakdown. One for the heads !
Next is the slower tempo "Turn It On". Don't be fooled by tempo though, because this is straight deep house, nu-disco filth. Featuring hypnotic arps, strings, vocals and lush chords, "Turn It On" locks on a groove and doesn't quit till the last kick drum. Just think, hot summer night in a small packed club, and "Turn It On" drops on the speakers. Hands in the air, sweat dripping, people singing "Just fuckin' Turn IT ON!!" Seriously though, this will cause some damage.
Last, and by no means least, is the biggest of them all. "A Higher State" is a thumping bass driven houser that draws on an old school tip. The bouncing bass mixed with 909 drums, vocal cuts and stab organ chords takes you back to the late 90's, where house music was followed with passion from clubbers around the world. You can't stop your head from bobbing to this and it's easy to hear the hours of work that has gone into this record, so play it LOUD and let the music do the talking!
