Coming off a nice string of releases on labels like Too Many Rules and Glasgow Underground, PINTO (NYC) joins the Good For You Records family with a 3 track EP that packs a hell of a punch. The title single 'Speaking Of' pleasantly reeks of funk fill soul samples, quite nicely arranged into a high energy jackin / disco-house head banger, while 'No Matter' and 'Give You' take a more bass filled picnic, a four to the floor vibe featuring well crafted percussion that is heavily focused on working the dancefloor into a frenzy. Easy to see why Pinto's career is on the up swing, a very solid Ep from one of house music's most consistent up and comers.
