Italian artist, Nnatn returns to Piston Recordings with the solo effort, Rebooting EP. No stranger to us here, Nnatn partnered alongside Jasev for two solid releases with us already; Love Message EP and All In One EP. An established artist, he started to release music back in 2016, since then he’s notched up a respectable back catalogue across several top labels. Always a pleasure having him here at PR.

Rebooting opens the EP, delivering a quirky mash-up of styles in a solid package. Punchy breaks and thumping four on the floor beats are joined by hybrid percussions, squelchy notes and a cacophony of computer system sounds. Kratere is up next, with a superb deep house vibe right from the off. Chunky beats and slicing hats combine as shuffling percussions enhance the rhythm. Deep, sub-level basses dominate as 303 style plucks come through. A cool vocal is woven amongst the elements alongside trippy arpeggios. Deep, dark and moody, perfect for late-night sessions. Desire rounds out the release, continuing the deep and moody theme with, powerful kick drums and perfectly manicured percussions at the forefront. Strong, plucky basses bubble up from the depths as captivating vocals join in alongside atmospheric pads. Sublime stuff, not to be missed.
