"From The Vault Series 01" is the first of its kind for RSR. It is a selection of back catalogue tracks that have been re-tweaked and reworked, to add a fresh spin on classic tracks from the Random Soul Recordings vault. For the first in the series, we welcome 2 massive names that need little introduction, Shane D and Scott Diaz. They are both frequent members to top 10 charts, global tours and living rooms via their infectious grooves, and their remixes are nothing short of divine.
First up we welcome South Africa's Shane D to the team to remix his favorite RSR tune to date, Random Soul's "Take Your Time". Shane has taken the track into a lush synthetic groove that compliments Kristen's vocal so well that we have forgotten what the original song sounds like! His beats are as tight as they come and we just know this remix will leave the ladies blushing as they sing-a-long to the soulful yet modern twist Shane has delivered. You can hear the effort and finesse in these mixes, so grab a slice of gold and get it cranking!
Next up is Scott Diaz. Scott has been rocking some of the most memorable remixes and originals for the past few years and has delivered his patented flavour to Random Soul's "Music Inside". With lush piano chords, conga loops and a live bass groove, this one screams a soul-gasm. His remix transports you to a hot place, margarita in hand, pool splashing as people dance and move to the rhythm in the air. A classic remix utilizing the very best from the original with Scott's undeniable ability to move you. A summer anthem you ask? Hell yes!
Lastly, Yogi & Husky step up to deliver a fresh take on "Music Inside". Picking up the tempo from the original, they have a main room groove that will keep things going into the wee hours of the morning. With a rocking sax hook and bouncing off beat bass line, this one is for the clubbers who just want to get stuck in on the floor. Hands in the air as the piano and sax build you up, this is a floor killer, no filler!
