"The relationship between Pulshar and Rod Modell goes back to 2008, when Echospace (Rod and Stephen Hitchell) remixed Nospheratu, a track included in the album Brotherhood (Phonobox, 2008).

This release would go on to foster a friendship that went beyond just music. When Rod travelled to Barcelona, he'd always catch up with Pablo and Sergio to chat and walk around the Raval, making the obligatory stop in Bismilla Kebabish of Joaquín Costa. During these visits, the idea to work on more than just remixes together came up. The collaboration birthed Undercover, a conceptual EP of 5 tracks (digital release) and 3 on vinyl. One song, 5 covers.

Undercover speaks to sound's affect on emotions. Like waves in the ocean, each unique track comes from the same source. From the strongest and most powerful waves of a storm to the quiet and gentle tides, this is forty-seven minutes of pure pleasure. The feeling of this release is abyssal, dark and very organic, and it takes you on a very special underwater journey aboard Verne´s "Nautilus."
