The rapidly expanding label Elbaraka Family has recently welcomed moroccan duo, NDRK & Yacine Dessouki, to their already rich catalog of music with their newest single/EP titled 'Belarej', Featuring vocalist Nukad, the track is accompanied with a stellar extended remix from the label boss 'Mr. ID'.
Nader Khairi, aka NDRK and Yacine Dessouki, are up-and-coming music producers from Casablanca and London who have already cut their teeth producing tracks for labels such as Sapiens, Borders Of Light, Frau Blau and Eleatics Records.
Their sound is instantly recognisable and truly unique, as it draws upon a multitude of genres from indie dance, to melodic techno, to electronica and beyond.
This latest addition sees NDRK & Yacine Dessouki's debut with the label as we are treated to the duo's dreamy creations that come from many different places across the musical spectrum. 'Belarej' is a timeless and provocative listen.
As the original track opens, we are immediately met with a sense of urgency as a hurried refrain is accompanied by a steady, pulsating baseline. The bird-like call synths alongside the added noises and ambiances gives the track an other-worldly feel, contributing to a rich but mystical soundscape that makes the listener feel as though they've been transported to some mysterious landscape on a distant universe.
