Runaway Love is one of my favourite ever records, the original from Linda Clifford is a soul classic. Rita Campbell's vocal is such a wonderful cover, it brings me joy every time I hear it. This version from myself and Michele is a beauty too. We hope you love it like we do.

Rita started touring and writing with her first band at the age of 15, leading to a full time career as a songwriter and session singer working in all genres from drum 'n bass to pop, dance and rock. Rita was also the first signing to Hed Kandi.

She is a prolific singer / songwriter covering a broad range of genres with many cuts and releases for various artists. She's worked and written with a diverse range of artists including Steps (for whom she wrote the UK Number 1 hit 'Stomp'), Sweden's leading producer StoneBridge (RobinS), Toploader, Paul Weller, Jools Holland, Michael McDonald, and of course The Brand New Heavies.

Rita stands as one of the UK's most in demand featured vocal artists and songwriters and has lent her voice and songwriting skills to some of the biggest tracks in the worlds of dance and pop.
