London based Willo's debut on Absent Music is an exploration into field recordings and live improvised music.

First up is 'OD' a blissful bass guitar laden track; emotional without urgency, direct but thoughtful, shimmering hi hats ring through and before you even know it, the track wisps off into the ether leaving you content but longing for more.

We move swiftly into the spatial droned out escape of 'PM', a real heart-tugger, relentless but ultimately conjuring images of summer nights in dusty fields with the cacophany of life melting into your mind as the sun peaks it's head out at 4a.m.

Willo closes off '01(o)' with 'Violet', we get experimental improv drumming under-pinning the layers of fed-back bass guitar riffs which always seem to be one step ahead of you, until it comes crashing to it's natural conclusion.
