Gripped by 90's house music nostalgia, songwriter and vocalist Emily 'Evar After' Alvarez teams up with mastermind Coflo, to shadow box the story behind one her favorite classics; Armand Van Helden and Roland Clark's 'Flowerz.'

Twenty four years after the 1998 release of 'Flowerz', Alvarez begs the question; Can flowers still fix it? Pulling from her perspective as a woman, lyrical imagination, and upbringing in nature, she transports herself to that city block in 1998, to offer her narration. 'Gardenz' asks the listener; 'Why don't you plant some seeds instead?'

As expected, Coflo cradles the hauntingly soulful vocals of Alvarez with a musical masterpiece; effortless strands of melodies, expertly sewn within a bouncy, 90's house inspired instrumental that will absolutely connect to the hearts and minds of listeners, and surely light up any dancefloor.

If you think he's finished at the 'Original Mix,' you haven't heard a thing. Apply sunscreen for the 'Coflo's Dub' and 'Coflo's Dubstramental' versions. You're going to want to be #outside for this project.
