Opening up the fall season, D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music showcases new interpretations of DJ Ruby's ‘Apollo'. Originally released as part of the Maltese artist's 2021 chart topping 'Constellations: Orion' collection, the progressive minded track proved to be a release highlight, earning support from the genre's premiere tastemakers. Now, SLC-6 Music invites Golan Zocher, Tenet Audio and Indigo Man to revisit 'Apollo' and provide their own unique interpretations. Making his label debut with the first remix is Colombia-born, Israel-based artist Golan Zocher. Famed for releases on Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Golan takes ‘Apollo' on a magical travelogue of trippy effects and emotive melodies that are nicely geared for peak time play. Meanwhile, Tenet Audio, aka Astropilot, returns to SLC-6 this time under his progressive and melodic techno moniker, taking the track deeper into more spacious territory with roomy grooves setting the pace for squelchy stabs and hopeful toplines to work their magic. The release concludes with Mexican artist, and label stalwart, Indigo Man who delivers an outstanding, hypnotizing, old school progressive rendition which caps the release off in fine style.
