Duffnote's 2023 campaign begins with the return of Mannix and his brand new single 'Wanting You' featuring Pete Simpson. Between them they have contributed to, collaborated with and released on some of the industries most respected artists and labels.

'We had the instrumental of 'Wanting You' sitting on our PC for quite some time, then brought in trumpeter Simon Ploetzeneder to jam over the instrumental. When we had recorded the live music we felt, that a vocal was missing to make the song a perfect one. As I had DJ'd at an event where Pete Simpson was performing, we got together and spoke about the track. Then we hooked up in the studio and did the writing process and the recording in one go. After we had recorded and cut the vocals we added the Trumpet Dub to the package and there we go!' - Mannix
