We released Andrew Meller's version of the classic Underworld song "Born Slippy" in 2018. It had started as a bootleg that generated millions of Soundcloud streams and ended up as our first Beatport #1 hit. At the time, it was unheard of to do a cover version of a song like "Born Slippy". But, nowadays, all the big dance labels are doing it. Of course, we are still doing the ones that make us tick, but we've left the majority to the labels that came in our wake. 2022 was the year we got back into techno; one of our favourite artists is Luca Morris. For us, "Born Slippy" is the perfect song for a techno remix, so we asked Luca to deliver. And boy, has he done that. If you're a fan of Adam Beyer, you would have heard Luca's many edits in his sets; hopefully, you'll be hearing this one there too. It's an extreme roof-raiser!
