Phunky Rabbit steams into 2013 with a track by one of the most famous house production teams on the planet, Groove Addix (Sean Grasty and DJ Rikky Rivera) where they team up with fellow New Yorker Chanelle (Charlene Blair) with a track called 'Thankful'. I have big plans for the label in 2013 and there could not be a better way of kicking the year off with this little beauty. The Addix provide a strong musical backdrop then Charlene sings one of the most complex vocals I have ever heard over the top. Vicky Martin helped with the vocal arrangement and also sang some of the backing vocals with Chanelle.
On the remixes again I have spared no expense. First up we have Secret Soul (DJ Tim Wright). This is a really intricate mix which follows the style of the original but offers a really strong alternative. Next we have Phunky Rabbit regular Sudad G with a strong version in his progressive house style. Again a Phunky Rabbit favourite, Sandro Valentino, offers us another progressive twist that is sure to be a club favourite.
