Casino Times' first release for 2023 is not your typical affair. It features four tracks that bound between pop, techno, and disco with confident strides, and is set to be released on May 5th on STEP.

'Connected' is the last remnant of lockdown anthems, featuring vocals from Casino's own Joseph. 'Yeah I know, we've been apart for so long.' A thumping kick and melancholic lyrics are perfectly matched on this emotional floor filler.

'Cannonball' is an electric disco roller with resonating vocal hits and sweeping arps that feel like a warm hug from the machines of Casino Times. It's an italo-inspired flex that fits neatly into the duo's body of work.

'Understand' takes the EP into deeper territory, with an analog bassline that rumbles in and out of the subconsciousness, broken up by the punch of erratically programmed drum fills. The dance floor is rewarded at the end of this lengthy cut with a spectacular synthesised crescendo.

'I See' - Rolling bleeps move robotically within the rhythm of a tight drum sequence, eventually breaking down into waves of euphoric pads, ending the EP with heads high and eyes closed. The EP is a welcome addition to the Casino Times catalogue, which now spans over 13 years.
