Lunacy Sound Division is the production alias of Cubism Records and The Night Bazaar's Mark Gwinnett. Front Page Acid has been 10 years in the making, created alongside and inspired in part by Mark’s decade long media career at The Sun newspaper.

A seasoned rave veteran, Mark is responsible for changing the narrative in the national press by bringing underground electronic dance music to the forefront with his Clubz column at The Sun which ran between 2012 and 2017. During that time Mark interviewed most of the world's best DJs and artists, published not only in print but online across a variety of digital formats including a series of acclaimed video interviews with dance music royalty that includes the likes of Carl Cox and Pete Tong.

When Clubz came to a natural end in 2017 due to Mark's commitments as a senior designer on the newspaper, Mark continued putting the music front and centre there by creating a new DJ Playlist column in Something For The Weekend in Fridays newspaper which still runs every Friday in print and online... A who's who of DJs have featured since 2019, compiling playlists and talking about the music they choose, highlighting not only the DJs but the creators of the tracks.

Alongside all of this Mark continues to run Cubism, the label he founded in 2007 with Tony Thomas and that has been run for the last ten years alongside Saytek who over the last decade has risen to the forefront of live electronic music using Cubism as a platform to become the overnight success he is today!

The first Lunacy Sound Division long player, Front Page Acid contains highlights from the last decade alongside a number of brand new tracks made especially for the album. It also includes a collaboration with Mark's mentor and friend Tony Thomas, his friend Barber (whose expertise has been invaluable in finishing many of the tracks) and three of Mark’s favourite remixes on Cubism of inspirational friends Tom Finn, Focus Puller (Mike Healey) and Sam Ball. Look out for samples from some of many interviews Mark has done over the years peppered into the music.

The album is dedicated to Mark’s friend Wayne Sauerbach who passed away in 2014 with the final track on the album Sauerbach, a collaboration with Barber, written in Wayne’s memory the week after he was taken from the world so suddenly.
