Beatkozina is an electronic and world music duo based between London and Marrakech made up of Mehdi Naami (DJ, musician, and producer) and Gregory Jouandon (jazz drummer, pianist, composer, and producer).

While on a trip to Morocco to explore North African rythmes, Gregory meets Mehdi Naami the resident DJ of Buddha Bar Marrakech.
Both multi-instrumentalists, they share a strong passion for electronic music as well as world music.
Beatkozina is the fruit of this interesting artistic encounter.

Their Ocha debut is a beautiful rhodes composed tune titled 'Rhodes to Marrakech'. Which has no shortage of groove or percussion. Followed up by their digital B side, Renaissance, which is a truly long play record; with the composition spanning from flute to brass and end up in synth solo land. Coflo gives us a 'get down to it' edit to help those who have short attention spans.
