There Was Jack is back in the loop with a new promising release presented by two young talents.
Altere is a DJ/producer from Aberdeen, Scotland. He mainly combines classic disco tools with modern house beats, his tunes are characterised by energetic grooves and passionate vocals. Altere won the London Sound Academy's remix competition with his quality remix in the near past, and he already played in some popular clubs in the UK.
He developed and perfected his producer skills at Toolroom Academy, and he released a few tracks on Toolroom as well.
Altere showed up on our label with his single called 'Your Lovin' by the beginning of the year, and it gained a lot of success on the House charts and on the streaming platforms too. The successful release now gets a brand new remix provided by the new talent, Hotswing.
Hotswing is a young Italian DJ/producer, who grabbed our and his fans' attention with his great development and his better and better quality releases from the near past.
He already works with highly noted record labels such as: Toolroom, Glasgow Underground or Milk & Sugar. He debuted on our label, There Was Jack last year with a powerful remix that reached Beatport's Jackin House Top 1 position, and this year he followed-up with a new single, that also hit the peak of the same chart.
He mainly produces in the framework of House genre, but he individually combines funky, disco and jackin tools with strong, techy grooves.
In his new remix of Altere's song he worked the same way, this is characterised by a straight techy groove and some magic musical solutions. The original sample and vocal perfectly fits to the new coating.
