DER036 Brings in the New Year with the talented Hohle made up of producers Kieran Clare, Lloyd Lindo & Francis Sevier, if you can cast your mind back to August 2011 when they made their debut for Deep Edition with the massive Conviction EP, which included a wicked re-rub from Sasse & Submantra that%u2019s still a firm favourite at Deep Edition label partys.
This time around we have 2 original tracks offering some pretty special music from Hohle in the form of Ser Mi Dama & Arcapelago and a top remix package to boot. Hohle deliver slick deep house with more fantastic vocals that wash over Ser Mi Dama beautifully then we dive into the main room for Arcapelago offering tight deep house with a techy edge to get the floor moving.
On Remix duties we have the ever-impressive Michelle Owen, the multi-faceted talent makes Berlin her home, releasing records for Moodmusic and Lost My Dog Recordings, landing gigs at tastemaker clubs like Panorama Bar and Watergate, and hosting her own party, 'It's Almost Night' Michelle turns out a remarkable remix here with solid beats and an old style swing to the affair.
To round things off label head Martijn turns in the 2nd remix of Ser Mi Dama toughening up the bottom end and adding some shuffle to the groove making the mix more playable for the later hours.
