We are really honoured and very excited to be welcoming back the legendary UK artist Chris Cargo on the onedotsixtwo roster with his latest 3 track EP titled 'Jackdaw'.
Chris's musical career and contribution to the Progressive scene, spans over 2 decades. During this time he released has a plethora of amazing releases on some of the worlds best Progressive House labels from back in the day that include Little Fluffy Recordings, Choo Choo, Renaissance and Whoop Recordings to name a few, right through to now on his own If You Wait imprint, The Soundgarden, PlattenBank, Mango Alley, ICONYC and of course us. His tracks have always been firm favourites and supported by the likes of Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur and Tripswitch throughout his career.
2022 saw Chris release his album titled 'Resistance' which marked a huge milestone in his musical journey.
He first released with us back on 2019 in collaboration with Sonic Union on their double header EP titled Vapour/Depth Charge and then again in 2021 where his track 'Wolfie' was featured on our v/a Electrique Boutique mixed by Steve Marx.
For this release the title track Jackdaw is accompanied by Falcons Maze and Wondering Why. All 3 tracks are solid progressive cuts each with their own unique soundscapes and edge. Each track really highlights Chris intricate ability to create weapons designed for the dancefloor and sending it sideways.
