What happens were you bring Panamanian Mikki Afflick and Colombian Marlon D. on a slamming track together? You have the "Darién Gap." The only way to get to Panama by foot from Colombian, is through the treacherous trails of the Darién Gap, hence its title.
Marlon D, is no stranger when it comes to his unique style of music production. Marlon D is a staple in the New York Underground dance scene for over 3 decades. He's known for the world famous Underground Collective events and record label with sounds ranging from Deep, House, Afro, Soulful, Disco and Gospel House.
Mikki and Marlon started this project during the pandemic, and has let it marinate for two full years. Well it's now ready! Darién Gap with its deep Afro beats, sultry keys by Jerrell Battle and percussions by multi talented Grammy Award winning percussionist Juan Guillermo Aguilar Cosito, to top it off.
This track has all the ear candy that's often missing in today's dance music. This track is a dancers dream and is big room heaven. This is sure to be a future classic.
