Celebrating the life and influence of
Laurence Deniz (1949-2022)

Laurence, took me under his wing
when I was just 17 years old and needing to
navigate the bright lights of London's
music scene for the first time.

Shirland Road, West 9, London, is where
Laurence lived and became my second home.
A place where Loll hosted incredible
open house parties for the community that
lasted for days. A place where I met some
incredible people. And a place where I heard
the music that has forever shaped my journey.
