TekNoNo is an up-and-coming artist in the US House and Techno circle rooted in Detroit, Michigan. Noah Lancucki, previously known for holding DJ residencies all around the city of Detroit under a different name, was reborn as TekNoNo at the end of 2019. As one of the powerhouses of the Detroit electronic music scene, TekNoNo thrives when he’s giving others the same opportunity he was given on stage to develop and create unique experiences through music. With the shutdown of night life, outside of his day job of managing a retail loss prevention at one of the largest fortune 500 company stores in the Midwest, he put his energy into production being guided by mentors RN ISMO, Osunlade, Ky William and Westend’s Kick & Bass family.

TekNoNo strives to remain outside of a confined musical box releasing tech house, bass house or even deep house with his release ‘Do You Love Me?’ coming out on Italian Label Shaman Records. Being led by one of his greatest musical mentors and friends, Osunlade, this ‘Thyme EP’ releasing on Yoruba Records did nothing short of display his willingness to step outside of his comfort zone with true raw expression of emotion. It was a goal to display the roots of his musical inspiration with the variety of organic elements. ‘Thyme’ exhibits a more aggressive side, with inspiration coming from his early love of rock and roll music built with his father at a young age enjoying bands like The Who, Genesis, and Green Day, whereas ‘Thinking Bout U’ featuring Lusid shows a more gentle and emotional side to Noah driven through his love of artist like David Bowie, Phil Collins & Prince. A sort of Yin & Yang so to speak, This EP stands for his assertion to always be authentic in music.
