These are two hot tracks from the forthcoming and eagerly anticipated new Sunburst Band album Moving With The Shakers due for release in May.

First up is "Fashion" a radical new take on David Bowie's rocky funk jam from his "Scary Monsters" album. The Sunburst Band give it a mid tempo jazzy boogie treatment with live strings and particularly funky bass from Julian Crampton plus syncopated guitar parts from Tony Remy.

On the flip is "Journey To The Sun" a slice of sophisticated jazzy disco with rich vocal harmonies, strutting drums and punctuating live strings and brass. Think the likes of Candido "Thousand Finger Man" and you get an idea of the type of thing we are talking about. No samples here, all live playing from some of the best musicians around.
