In the World of Dance music, the name Spirit Catcher seems to provoke all sorts of weird and wonderful reactions, as most Dance music aficionados simply sigh and grin from ear-to-ear when the Belgium boogie-boy duo are mentioned.

So it brings us great joy and pleasure to bring you what is hopefully the first of many Mullet Records 'Spirit Catcher' releases.

First-up on the boogie radar is 'Final Call' - a killer no-nonsense straight down the line Nu-Disco jam featuring the dulcet monotones of a certain Mr Renard. From the off the track means business, with it's funky guitar intro and volume creeping bassline, that you're soon propelled into a whirlwind of sexy synth stabs and double-handclap Disco drums, before descending into a vox panned drop that simply makes the mind boggle with it's studio engineering trickery.

On the flipside we have 'Never Give Up' - again this features the elusive Mr Renard on vox and is arguably a more traditional slower and deeper 'Spirit Catcher' sound. 'Never Give Up' simply oozes hi-end synthesis quality, with sumptuous pads, octave-ranging Boogie bass and lead synth touches that'll make you smile and forget all your recessional worries in a jiffy... YES!

On the remix tip we have loyal Mullet regulars 'Casio Social Club' and 'Tad Wily'. Both remixes head straight for the warehouse dancefloor, as the CSC boys pull out the CR78 and synth toms for maximum vintage authenticity, whilst Mr Wily hits us hard with over seven minutes of supreme 'cream of the scene' four-to-the-floor Housey Disco business!
