Vanita - Actum //
And here we go again. After Vanita catered the very first release on our Hive Audio Dark imprint with her „Still On My Mind EP“ back in 2k20 the ever active Hive Club resident is back with a new release for the summer of 2k21, her „Actum EP“.
Opening with the title track „Actum“ Vanessa Spolidoro, the name under which Vanita is better known to her friends and parents, provides a deep and highly seductive take on atmospheric (Neo)Trance with a well melodic Tech House twist built on a warm, comforting and all embracing groove foundation with an ever meandering, morphing array of synth lines floating atop, working their way up to overwhelmingly emotional heights for club nights and festivals to happen when we are free from restrictions at last.
Furthermore the subsequent cut „Captum“ weighs in a similarly organic, yet more muscular and surely enchanted take on spiralling, masterfully crafted Tech House with a dreamy, well positive melodic vibe reminiscent of floating, early 90s ProtoTrance whilst teasing punters with one of the most extended breakdown sequences they might experience on a dancefloor these days.
