Ian O'Donovan marks his long awaited debut on Sudbeat with the 'Indian Summer EP'

Bursting onto the scene in 2010 with a flurry of releases for several seminal labels, his smooth techy sound was already light years ahead of the game, winning him high profile fans such as Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier and more.
Over a very short timescale he has amassed a phenomenal back catalogue signing for Kevin Saunderson's legendary KMS, Carl Cox' Intec and Sasha's LNOE.

His triptych begins with 'Indian Summer' a sparse melodic cut inspired, as many of Ian's tracks, by the sounds of Detroit and refined in his native Dublin. Powerful and understated the energy rises slowly punctuated briefly by an almost ambient break. Heads down vibes for the cooler floors.

Next up, 'The Initiation' heads down a darker drummy, reese bass-led path. Stirring like a sleepy animal after hibernation, the fierce low end is tempered by earworm hooks which reach feverpitch for the final drop.

Finally, 'Empyrean Eclipse' rounds out the pack with gusto. With a cheeky nod to Bladerunner a theme throughout, the groove is deep and menacing, showcasing Ian's breadth of style to a tee.
