Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint welcomes Microlot back to the label for his debut album ‘Singular Moments'. Hailing from Australia, Luke Warren aka Mircolot has been a fixture of Australia's electronic underground for the better part of a decade. Noted for his evocative textures, organic grooves and dubby rhythmic structures, Microlot's craft shines through vividly, making each one of his creations an absorbing experience. On the strength of releases for Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas, the Sydney resident made his Sound Avenue debut in 2021 with a remix of Madloch and Subnode's 'Utopia', a project which would lead to a two-track showcase via label affiliate Crossfade Sounds in 2022. Moving forward, 2023 has seen the upstart Aussie further his bond with the Belgian imprint and in turn sign over his much anticipated debut album. The release of ‘All Living Things' in February was the long player's first prelude, a three-track sampler whereby Microlot showcased a timeless deep house sensibility. Its tepid beats and glacial waves found favour from a cross-section of DJs, perfectly whetting the appetite for the May release of sampler number two ‘Far Blue'. Here the Sydney resident showcased the organic side of his repertoire, with three equally enthralling productions which featured a lower tempo and more introspective approach. The July release of ‘Neon Jellyfish' was the final act to the three episode album preview, whereby a deep yet club-effective sensibility drew listeners in with its nostalgic musicality and dusty percussive arrangements. Now, linking all the installments together, along with three previously unreleased cuts, Sound Avenue presents Microlot's long-awaited album debut ‘Singular Moments'.
