'I write music as a way of reaching out to my fellow humans. Especially the lonely, downtrodden, and those in need of a friend. That's what music did for me. Brought me comfort and also brought a lot of really great people into my life. This album to me is about unity, friendship, respect for life, and music as a unifying force. It is intended to evoke wanderlust, longing, universal spirit, and connectedness in the listener. I want to give special shout outs to Mike Martinez, Craig Howell, Felisa Womble, John Baugh, Tony Wood Jr., J.Caprice and the whole Simplistic team, and a very special shout out to my soul sister Kristen Harmon.
