With release number 190 Say What? welcomes the up-and-coming Argentinian producer Maxi Alvarado who meticulously crafted for us a mesmerising 4-track EP.

The title track 'MAARS' kicks off with relentless beats and haunting melodies, setting the tone for the whole release. The pulsating energy of the track takes you on an instant journey, fusing complex layers and arrangements to create an out of this world experience.

'Odyssey' is next up and shows Maxi’s eye for sound design is one to watch out for. Its atmosphere and a touch of trance-like synths are the message in this record, this all mixed up with deep and raw edged beats making this one a true dancefloor monster.

'Obsession' - a synth heavy track that sends you through a rollercoaster of emotions, from fear and chaos to hope and resilience, while the beats become more uplifting and it all transitions from dissonance to harmony.
