Acclaimed producer, pianist and now label boss LP Giobbi returns to her freshly launched Yes Yes Yes imprint with frequent collaborator and friend Le Chev for ‘Howl’. The launch was spearheaded by the eccentric release ‘Time Expands’, showcasing the artist’s affinity for genre-defying dance music as displayed in her critically celebrated debut studio album ‘Light Places’ on Ninja Tune. Since 2018, LP Giobbi has worked closely with American producer Le Chev, one half of Crush Club, whose portfolio of sound includes artists like Fischerspooner, Purple Disco Machine, Jake Shears and remixes for Ava Max, Sofi Tukker and more. Throughout their latest collaboration, ‘Howl’, hypnotic synth pulsations come to the fore supported by rich piano harmonies and organic percussive patterns for another impressive delivery on LP’s imprint.
