Adesse who has recently gained attention with his steppers version of Theo Parrish’s ‘Sky Walking’ delivers “Baayi’. It’s a superbly deep & warm house production with metronomic wood blocks, organic keys, swinging drums & sublime vocal samples. Recent R&S signing,Truss, drops an acidic techno workout with ‘Redbrook’. The track has a truly classic feel insistently building with hammering hi-hats giving into addictive acid riffs. Massimo De Lena closes the EP. ‘You Better Hear’ is an off kilter mélange of cut up acidic bass moves & dissonant drums under hypnotic, repetitive vocals.Over the last few years Prime Numbers have gained a lot of praise for their three track EP series featuring respected producers like Andres, Move D, Linkwood, Actress & Motor City Drum Ensemble. After a years hiatus they continue that trend with PN17 and are certainly maintaining the quality we’ve come to expect returning with some exceptional new productions.
