Allies for Everyone returns with "Supernatural (Remixes)", the second single lifted off their critically-acclaimed 2012 'Scavenger' EP, featuring mixes by Blue Foundation, Chuck Buckett, Rubber Ross and Laurent Leroy.
Hailed as "the perfect alloy of sweet 80's synth-pop and new school electro jack" (Time Out), Allies For Everyone specializes in dreamy, introspective synth-pop with percolating 90's electro house grooves that can command a dance floor while simultaneously tugging at your heartstrings.
"Supernatural" provides a striking glimpse into the multidimensional nature of the group's rich sound with four radically different interpretations. Allies' own Brian Suarez reinvents the bouncy electro-pop original into a percolating, dancefloor friendly electro-house groove while Brooklyn-based producer/remixer/DJ, Chuck Buckett, delivers an energized, sexy and sly workout with driving melodic keys heavily rooted in classic 80's synth-pop and contemporary nu disco rivaling his recent floor-filling reconstructions for Deluka and Ke$ha.
NYC-based DJ Laurent Leroy turns down the tempo recasting the sultry original into a moody, minimal deep house dub where low pulsing bass, warm clapping effects and drifty auto-tuned vocal samples set the scene for a dark, ambient late night voyage. Rubber Ross takes you back to the disco with their narcotic mix which fits neatly in a playlist or DJ set alongside Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder, and future classic heavyweights like Classixx, Goldroom, RAC, Cassian and Plastic Plates. Suarez's silky vocals take center stage underscored by glossy synths, thrusting sequencers and an undeniable arpeggiated bassline. Otherworldly electronic/ pop duo Blue Foundation closes out the set with their inventive rework providing an intricate, glitched-out and left-field take on the original laced with jarring drums and enveloping dark keys that owe much to the brash and ominous industrial era of groups like Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Foetus and Nine Inch Nails.
