Claude Monnet's reworking of 'At The Club'was a brilliant introduction to Timmy Regisford Remixed. For part two Frankie Feliciano and Tribe Records' Zepherin Saint are given free rein with one of the hits from Regisford's 'Covers' album, released on Tribe last year.

Timmy Regisford was one of the DJs who first inspired Frankie Feliciano when he began clubbing in New York in the late 1980s, so it's appropriate that Feliciano is now remixing one of Regisford's productions. Feliciano is a New York legend in his own right 2013 he's has been DJing and producing professionally since 1990, producing countless remixes for artists like Kenny Bobien, Barbara Tucker, India and Osunlade. His own productions are often released on his label, Ricanstruction Records, which nods to his Puerto Rican family background, both his father and grandfather are musicians.

Here Feliciano opens up (and closes) his remix with a spacious Latin-percussive work-out before the fat bassline squelches into place and the vocal lets rip.

Tribe Records label boss Zepherin Saint has also been very inspired by Regisford over the years and was delighted to release a second album by Timmy Regisford, following 'At The Club' in 2011. Saint uses moodier synth lines to create a darker soundscape, which seems to emphasise the pathos in lines like 'These tears I cry will not be the last, This pain inside it never seems to pass me by.
'Thank You' ultimately carries an uplifting message, but this is a remix that suit those middle-of-the-night moments when the crowd is ready to go deep.
