The title cut, Throwing Blue Smoke, churns mercilessly, with a ferocious drum track, wild percussion and hot, soulful vocal samples. Summer Sunlight, shines beautifully over the EP, with a throbbing, muted kick, warm textured synths and thoughtful, melodic lines and soloing. No Twirlspace EP would be complete without a 'dark horse' track. On this EP, that track is DEFINITELY Circular Breathing. 'CB' boasts ample space within the melody for optimum movement. The ominous, sustained bass and haunting pads lay the roadway for the outright disturbing and reckless lead guitar-synth solo that rips through the track.
