1 - How did you guys get together?
Franco: I meet Raw through my manager & business partner Ester Maroto. And there it all began.
Raw: I actually met Franco through Ester Maroto and we then exchanged contacts and started charting via email and star working together. We haven't really met in person yet but I've got a feeling that its gonna happen real soon.

2 - You%u2019re both based in different countries. How did you find it collaborating on the "VENTILATION E.P?
Franco: We both just star working on separate ideas. When we got to a certain point with the ideas, we would shoot it across to the other person, who would then finish it off. We%uFFFDd bounce the track back and forth to add the final touches. It was really just sending the tracks back and forth until they became kind of finished.
Raw: Working on the Ventilation EP with Franco has been a wonderful experience for me. The only difficult part was when I had to download or send the data of the projects back to Franco, because the network would be really slow most the time here in South Africa.

3 -So the internet was pivotal to making this EP happen?
Franco: Ohm Force allow producers to work together in real time whilst being in two separate countries via the internet. I%u2019ve tried them out before but no with Raw Siqnal on this EP.
I think it%u2019s a dope idea, especially as we seem to be in the golden era of the next phase of the bedroom producer mentality. A lot of us who have grown up making our own beats in our own little spaces, we are quite used to working alone, that kind of introverted thing, so it's kind of nice in a way to work on a project online, as it means you can collaborate with people without intruding on that unique type of vibe, breaking in on their own personal space. Any program and system that can make this happen naturally and faster is a really cool thing, and it makes working with people on the other side of the world just so easy as I am doing now with Hector Romero from Def Mix Productions or with my Bro%uFFFDs The Soul Creative Alex & Salvatore.

Raw: Yes the internet played a really huge role when it came exchanging the data and project files, it actually made the process much easier and simple.

4 - What can we expect on this EP?

Franco: We both share a ground when it comes to our music and ideas. Even though we have separate influences, we have a similar tastes to the music that we like and how both grown musically. On this Ep we show our influences with Deep House music. Really great to work with such a talented guy like Raw Siqnal, now signed exclusive to Kings of Groove records.

Raw: The EP is packed with four Deep House tunes with nice drums, heavy baselines, heavy chords and some really nice vocals stabs that will put your mind into a frenzy

5 - What do your studio set-ups consist of?

Franco: I use logic an Mac am a few synths and a big box full of toys. Neither of us have a super crazy set up, there is no need for a big studio set-up full of stuff. Good friends of mine, well known producers that make incredible tracks or albums no much more than a laptop or ableton and nothing else, you have to be original, can give your music more personality no matter what styles of music you do.

Raw: Mine is just a basic home studio consisting of M-Audio BX8 Monitor Speakers, M-Audio Sound Card, M-Audio USB MIDI Controller and a computer

Massive support from Osunlade, Jimpster to name a few
