Eagles from Space

Pig&Dan

Bulletdodge
BDR067 | 2013-10-28
For BDR067 Bulletdodge are proud to announce a sensational release from techno veterans Pig & Dan. They have delivered a package called Eagles From Space with 3 versions of the track and remixes from Detroit Grand Pubahs and Niedermeier & Whitehead.
Eagles from Space Alt mix is first on the package and its a fine example of Pig & Dan's sound. They have created a solid up front techno affair from a minimal amount of elements. The record builds around a rock solid bass groove provided by a haunting vocal that sounds massive yet maintains a deep edge.
The Faceplant mix provides a menacing and dark builder that contains all the elements of a techno classic. Tight percussion and vocal fx are conducted towards a satisfying breakdown that will smash any dancefloor.

The Organ mix is more driving, with elements of tech house that builds upon the key samples and vocal themes. They work their magic to deliver a direct shot of deep, thundering energy and assimilates the track to the Bulletdodge signature with sharp production and a generous helping of groove.
First up on remix duties is the Detroit Grand Pubahs, who supply a compelling, deep Detroit tech reshape that develops the key samples and vocal ideas of the originals. They've worked their magic to produce a direct shot of deep, techy, electronica that reflects the Bulletdodge trademark.

Last on the package and to remix is Niedermeier & Whitehead. Their take is a deep and techy vibe. With their fondness for stripped back, minimal distinctiveness, they have retained the basic groove of the original but have made an array of deviations to adapt the track into something sinister and innovating.
