Soul Arab Mild Karma EP [Incl.Mixes] [WGD]
Mild Karma a combination of 3 rough cuts by Soul Arab, it plays as an introduction to a system or era of Soul Arabs sounds the combination of Space & Mechanics. The main project Mild Karma standing on its definition from the Christian Theology of Karma being the doctrine of inevitable consequence more better yet Destiny or Fate. The song is of gloomy dark nature as it represents the phase of dealing with the repercussions of a past times acts, them being Mild shows how no challenge in life will ever be bigger than you to conquer it, this project also reflects on growth from strength to strength. Chronologically before the Karma, the single Lecture This is a stepping stone to the main project as in reflection on it is all about honouring what youve been taught in life from an educational and life perspective. So with ignoring valuable lessons you deal with the repercussions. Closing off the story is The Glum Gnomes the project concludes everything, in direct explanation to the title its gloomy dwarfed guardians of the earth who guard its treasures. On more personal grounds to Siyabonga Dube (Soul Arab) the actual artist this is linked up in the sense of firstly Gloomy referring to dark or in emotion of being sad or depressed, the sadness and depression is developed through Life events or Karma. Gnomes in this case talks about how Soul Arab hasnt done enough to guard the happiness of his treasures of the earth which is Mrs L.F.P Khumalo (Legal guardian). The sadness and depression is through his attempts being dwarfed or coming up short. The project though is one of lively nature with a moving rhythm which represents hope and forever trying to bring nothing but happiness and joy to his treasure.
Summing up Mild Karma is about learning, dealing with past repercussions but most important to remember to guard the happiness of the ones you treasure which is done by respecting and acknowledging the lessons taught by them.
