Rob Hes & Steve Slight are hot property right now with releases on Basmati, Sudbeat, Ideal, Gem and Skeleton between them. And they've excelled themselves here with their first full release for Selador.
Focusing is shuffling grooved techster driven by percussive coolness and layered with a warm melodic wash of tinkling synths. It's deep alright but still firmly made for the dance floor.
First of the remixes comes from clubbing legend and man of the moment Gabriel Ananda. The man from Basmati has been causing a fuss recently with releases for Suara, Traum and Der Dritte Raum amongst others. His remix brings a taste of the sunshine back to the winter months, with its emotive feel good dreamy voyage. Apex!
Next up Seladors own Steve Parry makes his debut on his own label and his remix toughens things up with its driving edge and chunky groove before the melodic elements arrive with their melancholic glow. Tasty!
