After a hiatus of just two months, the boys from Hot Lipps Records are back with their seventh installment and newest endeavor, Calculated Steps. Three choice tracks written and produced by label owners Peter and Steve Primiani, aka Hot Lipps Inc., are wrapped up and delivered just in time for the holidays along with a gifted remix.

The EP starts off with the title track... a deep, moody treat and just what we have come to expect from the brothers, making use of M1 Organs, atmospheric pads, and spaced out effects. A chunky remix comes courtesy of Leipzig-based artist and Oh! Yeah! Music label boss, Sven Tasnadi (Moon Harbour, Cocoon, Poker Flat). Sven delivers a winning combination of percussive-reduced tech house.

"Make Me Yours" marks the second original, opening with an effective low-set bass line. The track is a bit deep, a bit minimal, but with a ton of groove topped off by stabs, filtered pads, and vocal hooks.

"Devious Tongue" closes things out with more driving bass, some funky house elements,
