CitySeven open the new vista of 2014 with a forward-looking track from label luminary Jimmy V, moving on from his debut album "Storm Before Dawn", and vocalist Liz Cass, fresh from her collaboration with John Monkman on “Follow Me” for Get Physical.

In "Lose My Mind", Jimmy V sends us on a mood odyssey, as the carefree cadences of a sunset chiringuito morph into the brawny beats and restless excitement of midnight in the back-room, whilst Liz Cass breathes and broods on libertinism and lost love.

A panorama of remixes extends their vision. Taking command of the console, Aidan Lavelle, of Rebellion and Crosstown Rebels, sets the floor flashing with a period-production of pleasure-seeking proto-house, then Della Zouch responds by leaning the track down to bare-boned spartan bass. Finally, before the lights go on, Radi & Keith project a binary vision of a sci-fi future of bits and beats within the machine.
