On this Recline Music release we see the imprint welcome two new artists under their recently formed HUMAN 80s guise, the pair have opted to keep their identities under wraps with this project, simply letting the music do the talking. Opening the single is the original mix of ‘ Fix Power ’ from HUMAN 80s, a dropped tempo number employing chuggy bass tones, classic 4/4 drums and an amalgamation of disco guitar and slap bass licks, creating an infectious sun-tinged cut for the discerning house head.

Stepping up on remix duties first to follow is Death On The Balcony, the Culprit / Silver Network artists deliver their signature sound with a deep and hypnotic reshape. Bringing a smooth chord progression, fluttering pads and an arpeggiated bass-line to the forefront, while intricately programmed, tension-building atmospherics build on the bigger picture in the depths of the background. Mirco Violi then rounds of the package with his interpretation of ‘Fix Power’, the Italian producer turns in a smooth, organic mix fuelled by natural percussive sounds, cosseting piano hits and murmuring vocal snippets, rounding off the package brilliantly.
