Seamless Recordings brings you the hot new release from The Wizard Brian Coxx and The Playerz. Brian is the co-creator and resident DJ of the weekly Wednesday night party, Soulgasm NYC, which has taken New York City by storm over the last 5 years. Coxx is also no stranger to the studio and his first production was "Soulgasm Sessions - Vol. 1" which was released on Strictly Rhythm and was produced with Seamless favourite Alias Rhythm. Since then, he's gone on to release and remix for world-renowned labels such as Vega Records and Sole Channel. The Playerz, DJ Romain and Vincenzo Siracusa , are two veterans to the House scene. Romain, a known player on the NY circuit has a discography that spans back over 15 years, with highly respected releases on labels such as King Street, Underground Collective, and Distant Music, and collaborating with people like Jon Cutler, Keith Thompson, Jeanie Hopper , Alton Miller and E-Man. Vincenzo Siracusa, is from London, and highly regarded in the industry after working on Londons' airwaves for over a decade hosting shows on various stations, and holding down residencies in many of the UK capitals clubs.
For their first release on Seamless they have produced "The Essence", a journey like deep house track that drifts on the sound of some well polished and layered pads, crisp beats, old school bass line and the spoken word from Brian Coxx himself.
On the remix we have drafted in Swiss deep house maestro Dj Le Roi. He has taken this track and given it an excellent dance floor twist, working the vocal sweetly into a trademark Le Roi groove of rolling bass line, expertly programmed beats and exquisite arrangement.
Last but not least we have Dj Romain who has given this his own person spin, he has taken this firmly on an underground deep jackin' tech trip.
