Collaborating with Kittball favourite Milan Euringer, ‘Lovebreak’ was instrumental in the German duo’s explosive popularity and was one of their 4 Beatport top 10 hits of 2012. The track itself, with its sublime production, reached No.1 on Beatport’s Overall Chart – an unfaltering Beatport dominance fans are increasingly becoming accustomed to. Now a year and a half after its release the track has been passed on to a handful of Kittball favourites to shape it into their own.
First up, BETOKO & SamH3 kick off the package by using the original’s pulsating synths before a meaty bassline chugs along with emotive vocals resounding poignantly on top. In.deed then presents the second offering in the form of an upbeat number which comes complete with a playful hook and cheerful vibes geared for the summer’s sunshine. Next is Italian artist Simone Vitullo, who lays down a moody low-end groove broken up by piano chord breakdowns creating a peak time dancefloor anthem. Lastly, Wild Culture employ an atypical club sound by flipping the original on its head using whirring atmospherics and sporadic synth growls to generate a deeper and duskier cut altogether."
